How’d you like a Russian SU-27 on your wing?
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska (Aug. 7, 2011) - A Russian SU-27 Flanker, flying from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, intercepts Fencing 1220, a suspected hijacked aircraft during Exercise Vigilant Eagle. Fighters and Airborne Warning and Control aircraft from the U.S and Russia participated in Vigilant Eagle 2011. The exercise marks the second year of cooperation between the Russian Federation and NORAD to counter possible threats of air terrorism crossing international boundaries. it’s nice to see U.S. forces working with Russians.. besides, the Sukhoi planes look very badass… haha
